AJ Ty v IT Women Tester Academy is a unique project that solves two problems at once – the challenge of integration of women in the technology job market and a lack of IT professionals in Slovakia and the whole of Europe. Women’s access to ICT education is hindered by serious barriers; they face a lot of negative prejudices concerning the field (which is often oriented exclusively towards men) and they are often discouraged to enter it. In mixed groups women are not supported to make progress, are often ignored or over-looked, or face discrimination, and women feel underestimated and need to fight hard to acquire an equal status, or even to achieve access to learning. Aj Ty v IT Women Tester Academy will train women in Manual Software Testing. The lesson syllabus will be concisely prepared by the team of 6 testers who have long experience in the field of testing. The course will take 6 weeks and after completion participants will pass the certification and will have a very good chance of being directly hired by ICT companies.
