In our company, Plastika Skaza, we operate according to the principles of sustainable development and we are in search of innovations, that are friendly to people, communities and nature. Our mission is to change the habits of people and thus to preserve our planet. Even though we have already made a great impact on people in terms of acting responsibly and using reusable plastic products instead of single-use products, public events in Slovenia tell us a different story: piles of waste lying around. Therefore, we have developed a comprehensive circular business model for event organizers, by which we will offer our cups, plates and cutlery, made from environmentally friendly recycled material, which will be intended for multiple uses. We will also handle the collection and transport of potentially damaged and disposed products and ensure, that they will be recycled or properly treated. With marketing, education, the model itself and our products, we intend to change the established habits of visitors, organizers, sponsors and others. We believe, that they will also expand our ideas of sustainability among their colleagues, business partners, families and friends. By implementing our model, we can decrease the amount of waste on events and encourage thousands, maybe even millions of people to act in a more (environmentally) responsible way.
